Palworld might become accessible on even more platforms after it leaves Early Access.
Will Palworld Come to PS5?
Palworld might come to the PlayStation 5. Pocketpair verified this in a Discord FAQ.
On Pocketpair’s official Discord channel, the firm announced that Palworld for PS5 “will be considered during development.” This does not appear to be out of the question, since it would run well on PlayStation 5 and attract an even larger fan following.
If it does end up on PS5, it will most likely also be available on PS4. Palworld is not yet available on PlayStation 5, most likely because it is a day-one exclusive for Xbox Game Pass. This suggests that Microsoft may be working on a deal.
Will Palworld appear on the Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo Switch users are also losing out on the survival action. While Unreal Engine 5 is compatible with the Nintendo Switch, the game may not perform best. It’s also unclear whether Nintendo would want Palworld on their platform following the infringement claims.
If Nintendo decides to include Palworld on its systems, it may be better suited to the rumored Nintendo Switch 2.
Is Microsoft Buying PalWorld?
There is presently no official word about Microsoft’s probable acquisition of Palworld maker Pocketpair. However, some financial analysts believe that this is a real possibility.
There is already a partnership between Pocketpair and Microsoft, which is why it is only available on Game Pass – it’s plausible that Microsoft may seek to extend this agreement and preserve the popular game for themselves.
