Palworld has been a tremendous boon to the Xbox line of systems since it went into early access, as it is not currently available on the Nintendo Switch or PlayStation platforms. This means that only PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S may play with the Pals.
At the very least, Nintendo and PlayStation fans may console themselves with the knowledge that the present version of the game is buggy and has performance difficulties that detract from the gameplay experience.
Fortunately, developer Pocketpair is on the job, and fixes for Palworld’s PC and Xbox versions are being released gradually. A new patch has been published to help alleviate the game’s issues.

The patch notes are sparse and imprecise, referring to difficulties with game stability. This could apply to any number of issues that fans have observed, as Palworld can be slow to load, especially when a lot is going on onscreen.
Pocketpair should be applauded for prioritizing Palworld and releasing a consistent stream of patches that address the game’s major concerns. This is more than can be said for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, which still has unresolved problems a year after release.
Palworld is currently in early access, so fans can expect many more patches and hotfixes shortly. Palworld is a vast game, and the makers have promised that additional content will be added in the future, so it may take some time until the game is complete.
