Pacific Drive Is A Run-Based
The survival-horror game was revealed on September 13 during the PlayStation State of Play conference. It has you driving your automobile through an unknown and terrifying region of the Pacific Northwest. You shouldn’t go much slower.
Pacific Drive is the first game developed by Ironwood Studios and is scheduled to be released in 2023 for the PS5 and PC platforms. The developer refers to it as a “road-like” in a playful manner due to the fact that it is a run-based game and requires you to upgrade and enhance your vehicle in order to stay alive.
Because the Olympic Exclusion Zone is home to a great deal of potentially harmful information, you will need to be prepared for anything. The actual garage can be modified, and these changes seem to be permanent; therefore, Pacific Drive is more accurately described as a rogue-lite than a roguelike.
Although you will have to step away from the vehicle on occasion in order to make necessary repairs, you will spend the great majority of your time behind the wheel. Since 2019, the video game has been in the process of being developed, and it appears that there will not be a strong emphasis on narrative progression. Instead, Ironwood intends for its systems to facilitate the “telling of their own narrative” by the players.
