Nintendo Switch eShop Sale: Happy New Year Now that the year 2023 has arrived, I’m worried that it won’t be much better than the previous two pandemic-filled years, but at least it’s beginning with a large Nintendo Switch eShop sale.
This New Year’s sale also includes some excellent discounts on first-party Nintendo titles like Paper Mario: The Origami King and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, as well as some newer titles like Sonic Frontiers and Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga.
When the notoriously frugal Nintendo eShop, where games, especially first-party titles, remain at full price years after debut, gets a significant offer like this, it’s usually a big thing. Even better if it offers discounts on more recent games that are playable on Nintendo’s wildly successful portable hybrid platform.
Even while this isn’t the biggest or best sale we’ve seen on the eShop recently, there are still some great offers that should make it easier for you to pick a game to enjoy as we slowly make our way through the first few weeks of winter 2023.
