With the conclusion of the most recent Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak digital event, players now have a definite date for the free Title Update 4 rollout. Players looked first at the new bosses and other premium content available in Monster Hunter: Rise: Sunbreak.
It’s been a few months since Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s free Title Update 3 was released. No additional material was added to the action RPG in honor of its recent release for next-gen systems such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
However, as most players will remember, the Sunbreak team prefers to use the aforementioned free title updates to add new monsters, features, or fixes. For this reason, the fourth installment has been eagerly awaited by fans of the game.
The new free Title Update 4 DLC for Monster Hunter: Rise of the Sunbreak will be released on February 7, 2023, according to the official trailer. Two new monsters, Velkhana and Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax were introduced at the digital event.
The title monster of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Velkhana, is likely already a fan favorite. In Sunbreak, the Crimson Glow Valstrax is a playable foe for hunters, but its Risen form is only being added now. When the upgrade is launched, hunters will encounter a more challenging version of the Elder Dragon.
To celebrate the addition of Velkhana to #Sunbreak, we’re giving out FREE early access to a Palamute Velkhana layered armor!

Capcom also announced free, additional end-game content for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Expansion with the release of Title Update 4. Monster hunts have been spiced up by introducing the Chaotic Gore Magala to the game’s Anomaly Research Quests.

This is likely because the level ceiling for Anomaly Research Quests will be raised to 220 to accommodate the Risen Elder Dragons from Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
As for the rest of the new material, there are weekly event missions that players can do to earn cosmetic rewards, as well as downloadable content (DLC) that can alter the appearance of a hunter and his or her Palico or Palamute for a fee.

It’s no surprise that Capcom added Velkhana as a playable character in Sunbreak’s free Title Update 4 because of the success of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. However, there is still an excellent deal for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak aficionados.
The fifth free Title Update for the game is scheduled for release in April 2023, and it promises, among other things, the return of an Elder Dragon. PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series consoles now have access to Monster Hunter: Rise.
