A brand-new video game will be revealed on March 23 by LEGO and 2K Games. In a brief teaser video posted by the official LEGO Twitter account today, a reporter is just about to break a big story about a brand-new LEGO driving game from 2K when she discovers that she can’t show off anything!

Two posters can be seen behind the reporter, one of which reads “Octane Racing” and the other, “Vita Rush Racing.” It’s obvious that this will be a racing game set in the LEGO universe, but it’s also clear that neither company is ready to reveal anything else.
Video games based on “traditional” LEGO designs and minifigs, like LEGO City Undercover, as well as licensed crossover titles, like LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, have all been released for the LEGO franchise over the years.
It’s pretty clear from the video that this won’t be based on a particular license. The announcement on Thursday should provide a lot of specific information about the game, including a release date and some gameplay footage.
It’s important to keep in mind that if this is truly a brand-new LEGO Racing game, it wouldn’t be the first! In 1999, LEGO Racers was made available for the PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo 64.
