Rumors regarding Lego 2K Goal – or “Goal!” as the official spelling appears to be – have been circulating for a while. Still, there now seems to be considerable evidence that an announcement of the soccer game in brick form is soon.

An alert Reddit member discovered the game on the PlayStation Store under the name “Build up” and was able to obtain a photograph of the cover, which depicts many Lego Minifigures on the pitch, including one that resembles Lionel Messi, as well as a pirate, a knight, and a bear.

There’s even a flying monster in the background, indicating that the game is taking place outside of standard soccer laws – not that anyone would expect the Lego game to be a realistic simulation.

Take a look at this tweet post by Insider Gaming:

As with Lego 2K Drive, the title will have optional in-game purchases. At the very least, this suggests that a formal announcement of the game is imminent.

The game will include 1-4 players (4 online players), according to the ad. The game’s other features are unknown at this time.

The game was officially rated in Korea earlier this year on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
