Want to play Last Epoch on Steam Deck? We’ve covered all you need to know about how the action RPG runs on Valve’s portable powerhouse.
The war for Eterra has begun, with Last Epoch now available on Steam. The brand-new action RPG blends time travel, dungeon delving, and in-depth character customization as you struggle to shift the timeline to a different path.
There is an infinite amount of replayability as you travel through time, fighting evil civilizations and wrathful gods. With a plethora of classes to learn and many skill trees to manage, the Last Epoch is perfect for picking up and playing on the Valve portable.
With that in mind, here’s all we know about whether Last Epoch may be played on Valve’s Steam Deck.
Is Last Epoch on Steam Deck?
Last Epoch may be played on the Steam Deck, however, Valve has officially categorized it as ‘unsupported’.
According to the Steam website, the Last Epoch is not supported on the Steam Deck. Currently, Valve is “still working on adding support” for the game on the handheld.
Throughout testing, Steam Deck Gaming saw that the game ran at roughly 60 FPS. However, due to the high number of NPCs in Last Epoch, FPS might periodically dip below 50 or 40.
The Last Epoch system requirements only provide 22GB of install space, which isn’t much by today’s standards. However, if you intend to play, you need to ensure that you have adequate storage space on your Deck to avoid having to erase any prior games.
