The creator of Honkai: Star Rail, HoYoverse, has announced that with the release of Version 1.2 this week, several new stages and awards will be made available to players. By completing the main tale of Honkai: Star Rail, players will unlock access to the additional stages.
More major story objectives, two new regions, and several new playable characters are coming to Honkai: Star Rail in the game’s largest post-launch update yet, version 1.2. According to HoYoverse, the truth behind the Stellaron accident will be revealed in the final chapter of the Xianzhou Luofu arc.
Honkai: Star Rail now has seasonal Event Warps where players can call Blade, Kafka, Luka, and Yukong to aid them in completing the main story. Unlocking new levels allows players access to more challenging battle environments and better rewards.
Stagnant Shadow, Cavern of Corrosion, and Echo of War, three new stages, have been announced for Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 in a new HoYoLab blog article. After achieving sufficient progress in the Xianzhou Luofu tale chapter, these three Honkai: Star Rail stages will become available within the new Alchemy Commission and Scalegorge Waterscape regions.

Once the main story mission “Desolate Depths of Despair” has been completed in Alchemy Commission, the first new stage, Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Celestial, will become accessible to play. Ascendant Debris elements, obtained by clearing the Stagnant Shadow stage, can be used to develop further and level up wind-type characters like Blade.
Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Elixir Seekers and Echo of War: Immortal Divine Seed levels have additional prizes, such as brand new Relics, for those who complete them.
Players of Honkai: Star Rail can enter the Path of Elixir Seeker stage of the Cavern of Corrosion activity once they have unlocked the Alchemy Commission region. New Longevous Disciple and Messenger Traversing Hackerspace Relics, which improve attributes like HP and speed, are unlocked at this level.

After finishing the story quest “A Dragon Gallant, Its Ocean Distant,” access to the Echo of War: Immortal Divine Seed stage is granted. Players can farm for valuable level-up materials, Lucent Afterglow, and extra Relics in this stage.
The new arenas added in update 1.2 of Honkai: Star Rail should make creating stronger characters and teams easier. These areas can be farmed for Ascension materials and Relics, allowing players to craft the best possible quick builds for Kafka and Blade after obtaining them through the new Event Warps in Version 1.2.
On July 19, Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 will be released, and users may now pre-download the upgrade to get a head start on setting it up on release day. Like Version 1.1, Version 1.2 will include two phases, so expect more information about upcoming content from HoYoverse in the coming weeks.
