Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 has unveiled exciting new areas to be included in the upcoming update. Recently, HoYoverse organized a Special Program livestream called “Even Immortality Ends” to preview the fresh features coming to Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2, attracting an audience of over 200,000 viewers.
Scheduled for release on July 19, Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 will introduce various new elements for players to enjoy. This includes adding new playable characters such as Kafka and Blade, five-star banner units, and Luka, a four-star character.
Furthermore, players will face the challenge of defeating four powerful boss enemies. The update will also feature new limited-time events and unique challenges, allowing players to collect Stellar Jades and acquire Yukong at no cost.
Among the notable enhancements in Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 are the inclusion of two new areas: the Alchemy Commission and Scalegorge Waterscape.
The Alchemy Commission is one of the six commissions at Xianzhou Luofu, where skilled alchemists concentrate on medical research and providing care to the ailing.
On the other hand, the Scalegorge Waterscape serves as the dwelling place of the Vidyadhara, a humanoid species exhibiting dragon-like characteristics, much like Bailu and Imbibitor Lunae.
The Scalegorge Waterscape is also where the Ambrosial Arbor can be found. The “Even Immortality Ends” trailer additionally showcases a captivating scene featuring Imbibitor Lunae separating a body of water at the Scalegorge Waterscape.
Little information about the missions and adversaries that Honkai: Star Rail players can anticipate encountering at these sites has been disclosed. However, it was suggested that new puzzles would be incorporated.
Numerous online players appeared enthusiastic about exploring these areas while advancing the game’s main narrative. There is a strong likelihood that the Alchemy Commission could serve as a source of answers for the Trailblazers regarding the Mara affliction affecting Xianzhou’s inhabitants.
This location is also linked to the Sanctus Medicus, a cult-like group with ambitions of achieving immortality. Simultaneously, the Scalegorge Waterscape might be the ultimate destination, as the trailer hinted at a formidable boss named Phantylia the Undying in the same vicinity.
This could also be where Dan Heng unleashes his proper form as Imbibitor Lunae, which players eagerly anticipate. It is important to note that the Alchemy Commission and Scalegorge Waterscape are not the rumored new location in Honkai: Star Rail.
According to previous leaks, World 3 is speculated to be themed around the late 1800s or early 1900s in France and the USA. Since the leak, no updates have been made regarding the third in-game world’s release date.
However, if the Xianzhou Luofu story concludes in Version 1.2, players may have the opportunity to visit the next world earlier than expected.
Honkai: Star Rail is currently accessible on both PC and mobile platforms, with the PS4 and PS5 versions currently under development.
