Recent news about the Honkai: Star Rail game has revealed some gameplay of a powerful character named Topaz and her buddy Numby. What’s interesting is that you can control both of them together as a single team, which isn’t very usual in games where you collect characters.
Honkai: Star Rail’s official social media pages have told us that Topaz is coming in version 1.4, which should be out in early October. But that’s not all! They’re also adding a powerful character called Jingliu and another character called Xueyi, who’s not as rare but still pretty good.

In this game, you can form a team of up to four different characters. To deal the most damage in battles, it’s important to carefully choose characters that work well together.
In the leaked video, Topaz is fighting alongside three other characters: Clara, Luocha, and Asta. These characters were chosen because they complement Topaz’s abilities, especially her special moves that trigger automatically under certain conditions.
A lot of fans think Topaz will be the best helper for Clara, who’s a powerful five-star Fire user. Topaz’s skills are perfect for taking down tough enemies one by one because they focus on single-target damage. She can also summon a creature called Numby that burns enemies with Fire damage. It’s a great combo for fighting tough foes!
In simple terms, this character’s special move makes Numby stronger by boosting how often he can land critical hits, how fast he moves, and how much damage he deals.
While in this special mode, Numby can attack twice before going back to normal. Some fans are upset because it looks like Numby is doing all the fighting, and they want the character Topaz to join in and do some attacks too.
Topaz and Numby might show up together in the game’s next special event. Leaks suggest that the game’s new version 1.4 might bring back a character we’ve seen before. But we don’t know yet when exactly Topaz will appear in this event – it could be in the first part or the second part of the event. The game’s creators haven’t told us that yet.
