Halloween is here in Grand Theft Auto Online, bringing spooky content in the latest update. You get a cool vehicle that looks a lot like the Ghostbusters’ Ecto-1.
In this update, there are three new scary game modes, a mission to take pictures of ghosts, bonus GTA$, and RP rewards, and even some free goodies. Just a heads up, if you’re playing GTA Online, maybe avoid saying “Trick or Treat” unless you want to turn into a ghost yourself.
Although updates for GTA Online are not as frequent, Rockstar consistently releases content for Halloween each year. In 2022, players got a rare Sasquatch outfit and encountered numerous UFOs.
The previous year, Halloween featured phantom cars and roaming slashers. Every Halloween event offers various bonus rewards, providing GTA Online players with lucrative benefits for facing the challenges in free mode.
This Halloween in GTA Online has some exciting content for fans. First off, there’s a new car called the Albany Brigham muscle car. You can buy it at the Southern San Andreas Super Autos shop or get it for free at the Vinewood Car Club if you’re a GTA+ member.
Get the new Albany Brigham — perfect for investigating recent reports of paranormal sightings across Southern San Andreas — free at The Vinewood Car Club for GTA+ Members.

The car already looks awesome, but if you take pictures of certain ghosts, you can get a special Ghosts Exposed design for it. It reminds you of the Ghostbusters’ Ecto-1, but not exactly to avoid any legal issues.
In addition to the Ghosts Exposed photo hunt, there are three new Halloween Deathmatches available in GTA Online. Drop Dead is a team battle where the living take on the dead in a unique combat style.
Suck It Up requires players to heal by dealing damage to opponents. Lastly, Damned and Lose is a free-for-all battle in a maze with no mini-map, providing an extra challenge. All three modes offer double GTA$ and RP, or 4x for GTA+ members.
Beyond the Albany Brigham and Deathmatches, there’s a bunch more in the update. Watch out for spooky animals that attack and transform when bothered. Phantom cars and UFOs are making a return, and Business Battles challenge players to grab spaceship parts from Fort Zancudo.
If you’re into collecting Halloween masks, you can earn them by finishing different missions. And for those who enjoy creating in GTA Online, there are new Halloween props available in the Job Creator.
The new Halloween update for GTA Online is out. Players can explore all the cool new content whenever they want. Even though some things are from past Halloweens, this year brings some surprisingly new stuff. Halloween fun in GTA Online will last through the holiday and into November.
