Grand Theft Auto V, one of the most successful and influential video games of all time, is celebrating its 10th anniversary on September 17, 2023. The game, which was released on September 17, 2013, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, has sold over 170 million copies worldwide and has been ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Grand Theft Auto V is also the home of GTA Online, the multiplayer mode that has attracted millions of players with its endless variety of activities, missions, and updates.

To mark this milestone, Rockstar Games is hosting a special event in GTA Online that features exclusive rewards, discounts, and surprises for the fans. The event runs from September 14 to September 27 and offers the following benefits:
- New Clothing and Weapon Skins: Get special outfits for GTA V’s main characters – Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. Just sign in before September 27 to get The Retired Criminal, The Homie, and The Groupie outfits, and they can be found in the player’s wardrobe or in the clothing stores under the Rockstar Anniversary section. Players will also get three weapon skins that match the outfits: Employee of the Month, Suede Buckfinish, and Uncle T.
- Free Snacks, Ammo, and Body Armor: Rockstar Games is also giving away free snacks, ammo, and body armor to all players who log in during the event. These items can be useful for completing missions or surviving in the chaotic world of GTA Online.
- New Sports Car: The event also introduces a new sports car to GTA Online: the Bravado Hotring Hellfire. This sleek and powerful vehicle is based on the NASCAR stock cars and can be purchased from Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
