Gran Turismo 7 Update Brings New Cars: The upcoming update for Gran Turismo 7 will release the most vehicles of any update in the game’s history during the week of December 12, 2022.
The update, which we’re going to proviso call 1.27, will feature five new vehicles to the game and was announced by Kazunori Yamauchi, the developer of the Gran Turismo series, in the customary form of a social media post with masked, silhouette-style photographs of the automobile content.
It will arrive on an as-yet-unspecified date during the week, but given that Thursdays have seen the majority of updates thus far, we would anticipate it to arrive on December 15 in the morning. This conveniently matches up with a previous date provided for one of the five cars involved.
The most obvious of the five vehicles is the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo, which is the vehicle in the image’s center. This was announced during the most recent World Finals competition in Monaco, and while it will be included in the game in this update, most players won’t be able to access it until about a week after it has been made.

On December 15, the Ferrari will be given to the contestant who properly answers the fourth and final question about the Nations Cup Grand Final during the World Finals live stream. Those who didn’t will need to buy it with in-game currency or wait until it’s unlocked in the Brand Central of the game.
There is some debate regarding the remaining four vehicles, but it appears that three highly anticipated new series models and one perennial favorite are included. The automobile at the top-right of the image, which is the last item, is equipped with the Toyota Celica ST205 rally car’s wing, hood vent, and roof scoop.
Update is coming next week.

This is a welcome return as it has been a fixture of the series since GT3 but bypassed GT Sport. It will presumably fall into the Gr.B category. The Bugatti Chiron, a vehicle that has been long delayed in Gran Turismo, appears to be the vehicle in the bottom-right corner.
The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, which made its debut in Gran Turismo Sport in 2017 after being unveiled in 2015, actually served as a preview for the Chiron, which was once the fastest automobile in the world.
More speculation is needed for the final two automobiles, but it appears that the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm is at the bottom-left. One of the fastest four doors available, this high-performance variant of the already speedy Giulia Quadrifoglio increases power and decreases weight to the point where the rear seats are eliminated.

Strangely, a new car from the recently founded Stellantis family will make such a rare appearance in any racing game anyplace. The automobile may be seen in the top-left corner. Numerous mid-engined supercars could fit the design, but we believe it to be the much anticipated C8-generation Chevrolet Corvette.
The C8 has been noticeably absent from GT7 compared to other racing games, therefore its inclusion is quite welcome. Of course, the teaser post, as usual, merely shows off the new vehicle content that will be included in the game.
There is currently no information available on further track content or features that might be included, however, observant players may have noticed two placeholder names for two extra Nurburgring location layouts added to the game’s Showcase area: “endurance” and “sprint.”

If this has any concrete effects, we will have to wait and watch. The upgrade is anticipated to release on December 15th, just in time for Gran Turismo’s 25th anniversary on December 23rd. Activities in-game to commemorate the achievement are already accessible and will run through early January.
