Gran Turismo 7 Update Brings Three Stunning New Cars to the Track

Gran Turismo 7 is one of the best racing games on PlayStation, especially when played with the new PSVR2. The game’s creators, the Polyphony Digital development team, have been adding more cars and features even after launching the game.

They recently introduced the 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce, and more vehicles are coming soon. The director of Gran Turismo 7, Kazunori Yamauchi, tweeted about three additional cars that will be released next week.

Yamauchi didn’t give many details about the exact vehicles, but he shared a picture with some hints. Users on the forum ResetEra have made some guesses based on the image.

It’s important to note that we don’t know the exact years of the vehicles until the Gran Turismo 7 team reveals them, but the picture at least gives us a general idea of the types of cars that will be added.

Next week, three cars are expected to arrive: the Subaru Impreza WRX STi, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO III GSR, and Aston Martin Valkyrie. People on the ResetEra forum argue whether the Valkyrie is the Spider or the Coupe version, but it’s a minor detail. Unless something goes wrong, we’ll know for sure in the next few days.

Even more interesting is whether Polyphony Digital will add more stuff to the game along with the cars. In the last update, they included a new Tuning Shop for players who reached Collector Level 50 or higher and new options for taking pictures with your cars.

The game’s director, Yamauchi, didn’t mention that in his short tweet, but Gran Turismo 7 players can likely expect a few improvements to come with the three new vehicles.
