Many players of Genshin Impact have been requesting more storage space for artifacts, which is understandable given the current limit of 1,500, which is relatively small.
Thankfully, it seems that the issue will be resolved sooner than expected. In Genshin Impact, artifacts play a crucial role. They enable players to enhance their characters’ combat abilities and provide various beneficial effects, including increased critical rate, energy recharge, and attack speed.
These magical items are classified into five categories based on their rarity, with the five-star artifacts offering a more significant number of sub-stats. By upgrading them, players can obtain random stats that can give them an advantage during battles.
Genshin Impact has officially announced that the artifact inventory capacity will be increased from 1,500 to 1,800, with the Fontaine update scheduled for release later this month.
Moreover, players can simultaneously destroy all four-star artifacts, allowing them to free up space in their inventory. The developers have also disclosed their plans to optimize the locking function for managing these items in the future.
On the game’s Reddit page, numerous Genshin Impact players have praised HoYoverse for alleviating their inventory space concerns. Some players have expressed the desire for an option to mark artifacts as disposable.
