Activision has started promoting Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 with the release of the first teaser.
The teaser, shared by the CharlieIntel X/Twitter account, shows a live-action video of Mount Rushmore being vandalized with the words “The Truth Lies.” This teaser is part of a website that has an interactive TV with six channels, hinting at the game’s name.

A second teaser for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is now online, hinting that we’ll soon see what the remaining four channels have to offer. This new teaser is about 20 seconds shorter than the first and shows the same mysterious group putting up black and orange posters that say “The Truth Lies.”

Microsoft is expected to announce that Black Ops 6 will be available on Game Pass during its June Xbox showcase. Although Microsoft hasn’t commented on this yet, Xbox president Sarah Bond has suggested that all Microsoft games, including those from Activision, will launch directly on Game Pass.
Activision is reportedly aiming to release this year’s Call of Duty, expected to be called Black Ops 6, in late October 2024. This follows teasers found in Warzone, acknowledged by developer Treyarch. Microsoft is also rumored to be planning to add the Call of Duty back catalog to Game Pass before Black Ops 6 is released.
While the TV-themed teaser website promises more information soon, details about Black Ops 6 are still largely unknown. We should hear more during the Xbox showcase on June 9, 2024.
