The game is presently available for pre-purchase on all platforms, with players who purchase before March 18 receiving bonus incentives such as a pet and horse.
Gold Road will be accessible on PC, Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation. However, new players should be aware that there is no crossplay allowed in ESO.
Elder Scrolls Online Gold Road Story
The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road will transport players to West Weald in quest of the long-forgotten Daedric Prince Ithelia, who is a prince of crystal and color rather than cosmic horror.
Players come to pandemonium and the discovery of a vast rainforest jungle that appears to have sprouted up overnight in the region. They also come upon the strange “Recollection,” a breakaway group of wood elves who consider themselves Ithelia’s devoted followers.
Throughout the story, players will learn about Ithelia’s interactions with the other princes and who she truly is.
There will also be some “capper” quests. These are unlocked by finishing the major tales of both Necrom and Gold Road.

Scribing is a new feature coming to Gold Road. The new gameplay element will allow players to customize talents based on World and Weapon skill lines. As part of the new system, players will be able to customize the appearance of their skills. Changing their colors and eventually adding additional visual effects.
