Logging into Diablo 4 reveals the Season 3 start date: January 23, 2024. This is also the termination date for Season 2’s Battle Pass.

Blizzard has also set a developer update broadcast for January 18, 2024, at 9 a.m. PST.
Blizzard has vowed to keep us updated on Season 3’s gameplay enhancements, Battle Pass, and quality-of-life improvements. They will also provide more information about the new leaderboard system and The Gauntlet.

The new leaderboards and weekly challenge dungeon The Gauntlet are the first. The Gauntlet is a non-linear dungeon with a fixed seed; creatures, their placements, and affixes will always be the same.
Leaderboards from The Gauntlet are another element that players can look forward to in Season 3. These will be updated every week, revealing the top 1000 Gauntlet participants each time.
