Hideo Kojima’s ‘Death Stranding’ Director’s Cut will be the next AAA title released on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The game’s release date was revealed in September 2023 and is expected to arrive before the end of the year.
After a little delay, the much-anticipated game for Apple users is officially set to release next week. The best thing is that purchasers may get it for a discounted price during the pre-order period.
Death Stranding Directors Cut Mobile
Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac on January 30. This is the official release date from 505 Games. However, the App Store listing mentions January 31 for some reason. The game can be pre-ordered for Rs 1,999, which is 50% less than the final price when it launches.

After the pre-order period, the game will be available for USD 39.99 (about Rs 3,324). We don’t know the exact final pricing for India yet, but based on pre-order prices, it should be approximately Rs 3,999. The best thing is that it allows universal purchase. It means you only need to buy it for one device and it will work on any other supported Apple device.
Death Stranding Directors Cut for iPhone, iPad, and Mac
Death Stranding Director’s Cut will run on iPhone devices with the A17 Pro chipset or higher. This implies that you can only play the game on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. On the iPad and Mac, the game requires at least an Apple M1 chipset.
iPhone and iPad users must have iOS 17 or above installed. For Mac devices, macOS 12 or higher is required. The App Store has listed the download size as 69.8GB. This is unsurprising given the game’s high visual quality and other features.
This is the second AAA title to arrive on Apple devices, following the release of Resident Evil 4 last year. That title also allowed for universal purchase, which consumers like. For several years, Apple’s iPhone CPUs have been among the most powerful on the market.
In an attempt to demonstrate their actual power and potential, the corporation has begun to focus on gaming as well. This is why Apple spoke extensively about all of the AAA titles that would be supported by the new A17 Pro processor.
It features a new hexa-core GPU that claims to provide 20% faster performance than previously. The next AAA game for iPhone is expected to be ‘Assassin’s Creed Mirage,’ but no official release date has been announced yet.
