The Battleground Mobile India (BGMI) is about to release its fourth upgrade since its relaunch following the ban, BGMI 2.9. Its 2.7 and 2.8 patches included new modes and events, such as the Dragon Ball Z mode and the Zombie Edge game. According to many sources, the 2.9 update will bring back the Frozen Kingdom winter theme mode.
According to Ultra Max, a YouTuber, the update would blanket the map of Erangel in snow, with snow houses put around Rozhok, schools, and the hospital. Not only that but there will be a large winter hamlet in Stalber with cottages storing treasure and awards. The players will be able to go from one snow home to another via zip wires.
Furthermore, the upcoming update will bring back the M416 Glacier skin, which will be accessible in a unique crate and can be purchased with Unknown Cash (UC). The update was supposed to go live on November 28, with Android receiving it first and iOS following later.
