The ‘New Dawn’ update for Battlefield 2042, also known as Season 5, is scheduled for release on June 7 alongside a sizable bundle full of brand-new content. Those still playing Battlefield 2042 may look forward to a fresh new map, weapons, gadgets, “experiences,” and a brand-new battle pass.

It’s a positive development for DICE and Battlefield 2042’s comeback. The game has been making rapid progress in recent months, and its popularity has skyrocketed since it was available on EA Play.

The developers have stated, “Season 5 for Battlefield 2042 deploys across all platforms on Wednesday, June 7 at 12:00 UTC, while Update 5.0.0 goes live at 08:00 UTC.” Despite the previous update, Season 5 won’t begin until 8 AM ET / 1 PM BST / 5 AM PT on Sunday, October 22.
