Baldur’s Gate 3 will get a new update soon. Patch 6 is scheduled to be published during the week of February 12. This is the game’s first big patch of 2024, following some lesser hotfixes, and the first since the enormous Patch 5, which brought the epilogue, Honour Mode, and more.
While the statement lacked information, Larian indicated that this would be a “hefty” upgrade. Here’s all we know about Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 6 thus far.
Baldurs Gate 3 Patch Early Notes
The most notable change mentioned for Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 6 thus far is better kiss animations.

Larian, who is releasing the same week as Valentine’s Day, has promised “improvements to locking lips with your romantic partner.” The announcement also includes a new animation depicting a touching moment between Astarion and Halsin that culminates in a sweet forehead kiss.
Beyond that, Larian has said that Patch 6 will include new camp idle animations, Legendary Actions in Honour Mode, and bug fixes.
Several foes, mostly large bosses, have Legendary Actions when you fight them in Honour Mode, making fighting much more difficult. Which foes will gain new powers and what they will remain to be known, but anticipate Honour Mode runs to become even more punitive following the upgrade.
That is all we know about Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 6 so far. We will update this page once the fix is released next week!
