In 2022, the most recent addition to the well-established Call of Duty series is “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.” This instalment follows Task Force 141 as they strive to thwart the terrorist schemes of Quds Force Major Hassan Zyani across the globe in the game’s campaign.

Once the campaign is completed, the narrative extends through Special Ops mode and Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing the Modern Warfare reboot’s storyline up to the present year of 2023.

Rumours circulated earlier this year, suggesting an expansion for Modern Warfare 2 would be released towards the end of 2023, introducing a new campaign and multiplayer content.

However, there is also speculation and hearsay hinting at a different approach, with Activision and Sledgehammer Games possibly opting to unveil “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” by the end of 2023 instead of continuing with an expansion for Modern Warfare 2.

The promotional material showcases a depiction of Captain Price alongside the striking red Modern Warfare 3 logo on cardboard boxes holding Monster Energy drink cans.

Per the details revealed in the Monster Energy promotion, fans of Call of Duty can unlock exclusive rewards in Modern Warfare 3 upon purchasing a Monster Energy drink and scanning a QR code at the game’s launch.

The character Ghost from Modern Warfare 2 is also featured in the Modern Warfare 3 and Monster Energy promotion. This popular character can be spotted alongside the QR code on eligible Monster Energy drink cans.

However, the details of the Modern Warfare 3 promotion remain uncertain due to the leaked photo’s poor image quality, and Activision has not officially announced the upcoming title.

Despite the absence of an official announcement, the recent leak supports a federal judge’s comments concerning the release of Modern Warfare 3. Monster Energy seems to be gearing up for a significant marketing campaign for its drinks to coincide with the promotion, suggesting that the Modern Warfare 3 reveal is imminent.

Moreover, each game’s past area is rumoured to receive new characters, including a mummy girl from Sumeru. Fresh leaks indicate the imminent arrival of three new Adeptus characters from Liyue. 

According to a recent update from the well-known Genshin Impact leaker Tao, shared through Uncle A, exciting news has emerged that Cloud Retainer, Madame Ping, and Guizhong will soon join the playable character roster.

While rumours about these three Adepti becoming playable had circulated, this latest update solidly confirms their forthcoming introduction in the game.

Both Cloud Retainer and Madame Ping play significant roles in the Liyue region’s storyline, and Guizhong has been extensively referenced throughout various events and the game’s main plot. As for the exact release dates of these characters, the update did not provide any specific information.

Including Liyue’s latest characters in Genshin Impact has been a topic of speculation among fans, particularly regarding Cloud Retainer, who is rumoured to become a playable character in the game.

During Genshin Impact’s Version 3.4, players were given a glimpse of Cloud Retainer’s human form through the “Exquisite Night Chimes” event, where she played a significant role in the annual Lantern Rite event.

Another character, Madame Ping, is also rumoured to appear in a younger form, despite fans already familiar with her as the old Adeptus who rewards players with the Serenitea Pot. If Guizhong makes her debut, it will be her first appearance in the game beyond animated cutscenes.

If released on the speculated date, this skin would likely be one of the initial ones for the game. In comparison, the fellow HoYoverse RPG, Genshin Impact, generally introduces new skins approximately every four updates.

On March 7th, Honkai: Star Rail introduced its first character skin, following a trend already established by Genshin Impact. Like Genshin Impact’s approach, HoYoverse typically releases new skins in pairs for Genshin Impact, featuring both a five- and four-star character among the sets.

The four-star character in the skin sets is usually one that players can obtain either as a starter character or through a free event reward. In the context of Honkai: Star Rail, March 7th is the first permanent party addition that players receive, besides the Trailblazer, after starting a new account.

This release of the first skin on March 7th coincides with the upcoming introduction of numerous new characters in future patches for Honkai: Star Rail. Following the release of Version 3.8, Genshin Impact encountered a significant bug that impacted PlayStation console players. The game regularly receives updates introducing fresh characters and story content, typically monthly.

However, developer HoYoverse may occasionally alter its usual update schedule to address such issues. Version 3.8 of Genshin Impact featured the new Veluriyam Mirage area and the Secret Summer Paradise event, introduced on July 5.

However, discussions about the game’s future are already underway. For version 1.3, Honkai: Star Rail leaks have already disclosed the characters to come, namely Imbibitor Lunae and Fu Xuan as the following five-star characters, alongside Lynx, who will be introduced as a new four-star character.
