The Tactical Shotgun (or Tac Shotgun) has been a Fortnite mainstay since Chapter 1. It is slated to return in Season 2, however, it is unclear if the OG Tactical Shotgun, which was last seen in Season OG, will return or whether it will be a whole new form of the fast-firing close-quarters weapon.

An established Fortnite leaker has disclosed several of the improvements that will be included in the game’s upcoming season, including new monsters, items, legendary weapons, a POI, and more. Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 2 update is scheduled to release on March 8.

Fortnite has released the first teaser for the huge update, which appears to show Zeus, the Greek god of lightning, tossing a thunderbolt-shaped constellation.

This supports prior reports that the upcoming season’s subject would be Greek mythology. Fans are surely interested in how Epic Games will include the ancient faith, which is frequently mentioned in popular culture. Fortunately, fans now have a fairly decent idea.

Established Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey disclosed a variety of updates for the next season. Most significantly, Chapter 5 of Season 2 appears to add four new bosses: Zeus, Medusa, Ares, and Cerberus.

The bosses have mini-boss minions that must be slain as well. Defeating these bosses rewards the player with a variety of mythological weaponry, including Zeus’ Lightning Bolt, Ares’ Burst Rifle, Cerberus’ Tac Shotgun, and Hades’ Fire Chain.

Fortnite’s upcoming update will also include a few new goods, such as the Gold Apple, which provides a speed boost, and the Wing, which supposedly lets the user fly for a brief time. The update also includes at least one new POI, named Olympus.

The Fortnite leaker also said that God of War’s Kratos and Atreus appear to be joining the game shortly, after earlier Fortnite rumors claiming a similar possibility. Given that a Kratos skin was already brought to Fortnite, this iteration is likely a younger version of the famed warrior.

However, iFireMonkey clarified that all of this information is not yet fully confirmed and is based on leaks that the prominent leaker was unable to personally check, so fans should proceed with care until the update is officially released on March 8.

Fortnite debuted its Pandora’s Box event ahead of Chapter 5 Season 2, which ended on March 3. Users worked together to liberate the big box from its shackles, resulting in a giant, stationary tornado in the center of Fortnite’s map.

Currently, players may sprint into the tornado and be propelled into the air, which is a very useful feature for those fleeing an attacker or the storm.

According to recent sources, another Jujutsu Kaisen crossover will be coming to Fortnite shortly. Fans may recall the famous anime’s initial crossover with Fortnite in August, but this second partnership, which has yet to be verified, is expected to include new skins and potentially more.
