Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, as one of several installments in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, is, in my opinion, underappreciated. However, due to one modder, you can now play the game as you’ve never played before.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, published in 2015, transported the popular franchise to Victorian England and cast us as the Frye twins. Syndicate added a new twist to the long-running game by allowing players to swap between both brothers, each with their combat style. So much so that it presently has a “very positive” Steam rating.
However, given that the game was released over ten years ago, you may argue that its visuals aren’t up to par. To remedy this, one modder has created a remaster that includes ray tracing and color correction and is compatible with the most recent version of Reshade.
As you can assume, the remaster mod was designed to operate with the RTX 4090 and Ryzen 5800X3D’s high resolution and visuals. As a consequence, the modder suggests trying the mod with comparable settings to theirs: 6880×2880 ultrawide resolution with everything set to its highest level.
If you achieve these criteria, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will look something like this, which is more precise than most people’s eyesight. Not bad for an almost ten-year-old game!

With Ubisoft working hard on a slew of new Assassin’s Creed titles, it may be some time before we see official remasters of our favorite Assassin’s Creed classics. However, due to some brilliant modders, we have a temporary solution.
Furthermore, with Assassin’s Creed Syndicate being regarded as the franchise’s most underappreciated title, this will be a perfect chance to attract attention to a forgotten masterpiece.
