Persona 3 Reload is a remake of the classic JRPG Persona 3, initially released in 2006 for the PlayStation 2. The game follows a group of high school students who can summon powerful manifestations of their psyche called Personas to fight against evil creatures called Shadows in a hidden world called the Dark Hour.
The game blends dungeon crawling and social simulation gameplay, as the player must balance their school life, relationships, and activities with exploring the mysterious tower of Tartarus and uncovering the secrets behind the Dark Hour.
The remake will offer a suite of changes to the original game, including:
- A battle system upgrade that incorporates elements from Persona 5, such as Baton Pass, All-Out Attack, and Showtime.
- Enhanced visuals that take advantage of the power of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

At Anime Expo 2023, Atlus shared a new trailer for Persona 3 Reload that showcases the English voice cast for the first time. The trailer also features some gameplay footage from the remake, highlighting the revamped combat system and graphics.
