Indie studio Last Praetorian Interactive has released the official release date trailer for Project Vesperi. The trailer confirms that the game will launch on April 24, 2026, for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The trailer is under two minutes long. It shows scenes from Geyser Canyon Station, the last human outpost on Venus in the year 2083. Crew members discuss a geode taken from a Venusian anomaly. Some characters talk about handing it over while others refuse. The trailer notes that player choices will decide what happens to the crew and to humanity.
Players Control Dr. Evelyn Roth
In the game, players take the role of Dr. Evelyn Roth, a United Nations of Earth astrobiologist sent to Venus to look for signs of alien life. When something comes out of the anomaly, the story branches based on the player’s decisions. There are more than ten different endings. Relationships with the crew can change, and any crew member can live or die depending on those choices. The game uses motion capture for the characters and mixes exploration with some action. It is built in Unreal Engine 5 and includes detailed dialogue and story elements set in a near-future world with limited resources.
The Game Started as a Student Project
Project Vesperi began as a college student project. After graduation, the team created Last Praetorian Interactive LLC to finish it. The studio says this version is a complete, replayable story and that it could lead to larger projects later.A free student demo is available now on Steam so players can try the setting and dialogue system. The game can be added to wish lists on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The studio plans to release more videos and interviews called “Venus Unveiled” in the coming weeks. The full trailer is available on YouTube. Project Vesperi is scheduled to release on April 24, 2026, for PC.
