Apex Legends just launched the Shadow Society Event, and it’s full of cool new stuff for players. This event gives players the chance to get some awesome spy-themed cosmetics for their characters and weapons. There are 36 cosmetic items available, and you can either buy them or earn them for free.

Rule the underground in the Shadow Society Event! Protect your turf in Lockdown LTM, uncover new cutthroat cosmetics, and wield the all-new “Cobalt Katar” Apex Artifact, a universal Mythic Melee Cosmetic.

Some of the highlights of the event include:
- Cool spy-themed skins for characters like Lifeline, Ballistic, and Crypto.
- A new universal Heirloom Weapon that any legend can use.
- The Cobalt Deathbox gives your death box a special look, similar to the Cobalt Katar melee weapon.
To get these cosmetics, you’ll need to open special Event Packs. The price of these packs changes depending on how many you’ve opened already. The first pack is free, but the price goes up as you open more.
In addition to the cool stuff you can buy, there are also Milestone Rewards you can earn by opening Event Packs. These rewards include things like weapon charms, holo sprays, and emotes.
If you don’t want to spend money, you can still get some free stuff from the Rewards Shop using Reputation Points earned by completing in-game challenges.
