NetherRealm Studios has confirmed when the server maintenance for Mortal Kombat 1’s latest update, which includes DC’s Peacemaker and Krossplay, will happen.
Mortal Kombat 1 Peacemaker Update
According to the official tweet, MK1 servers will be down today morning, February 28, at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET, for around two hours in total.
During the upgrade, all online services will be inaccessible, including matchmaking, missions, invasion prizes, leaderboards, and the in-game shop.
Once maintenance is completed, Peacemaker should be accessible to all Kombat Pack owners in MK1. However, gamers who want to buy him separately will have to wait an extra week.
The other major innovation is the inclusion of Krossplay, which brings together the player base for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Game Store.
Krossplay will support 1v1, Kombat League, Kasual matchups, private matches, and a combined leaderboard, although King of the Hill will supposedly be added in a future version.
As stated in today’s Kombat Kast, this update will also contain balance modifications and adjustments, like nerfs for Kenshi and a new technique for Quan Chi.
Players may also look forward to the commencement of Invasions Season 4, Season of the Huntress, which will center on Mileena and include some tweaks that should make the grinding more doable.
