Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League Release Date: Now that Gotham Knights is so close to being published, everyone’s thoughts have naturally turned to Rocksteady’s next major new DC game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

The minds behind the Arkham trilogy are back but without Batman this time. Set in the same universe as the Arkham games, but in Metropolis rather than Gotham, this cooperative adventure lets you take control of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark.

Dates for the spring of 2023 are being considered for the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. While a firm release date has not yet been announced, we will be sure to let you know and update this guide as soon as WB Games or Rocksteady make it public.

In light of the game’s previous postponement, we shouldn’t be too astonished if it suffers another one. We wouldn’t be surprised, but we would be disappointed.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Gameplay

Although similar to the Arkham series, the gameplay in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is distinct. This game boasts a substantially higher frame rate and advertises itself as a violent action-adventure shooter.

The gameplay of Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark is much more colorful and exuberant than that of Batman, who prefers a more sedate and conversational pace. Extremely rapid and hectic pace.

Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark will be our playable characters, and the city of Metropolis will be accessible for us to explore as we see fit in an open-world format. The game can be played solo (with AI controlling the other characters) or with up to three friends in co-op mode, where you’ll be able to take on the game together.

Something we’ve noticed is that Captain Boomerang seems to have super-speed here, which is an intriguing turn of events given that he is a renowned adversary of The Flash. When we have more information, we will post it here!

Kill the Justice League, featuring the Suicide Squad, will be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox One X/S, and PC. New-gen seems to be the focus here, although there’s no mention of a PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch release.

So, it seems that if you want to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at launch, you’ll need a relatively recent and potent gaming console or a reasonably capable computer. The possibility of backward compatibility with older console generations is intriguing but seems highly improbable at this time.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Plot

The idea of Task Force X taking on Superman has been hinted at in the Suicide Squad films on multiple occasions, and it appears that this game will give fans their first chance to witness the bomb-implanted antiheroes fighting head-to-head with the Justice League’s most recognizable members.

Although the trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has provided us with some plot details, we still know very little about the film’s plot. With an “alpha target” in sight, our antihero team will have a field day taking down Brainiac, who will be seen launching an attack on Metropolis.

Brainiac appears to have set his sights on Superman; if he is successful, the rest of the Justice League’s heavy hitters will likely be cast in the role of antagonist. It would be interesting to think about, and it would make sense in the context of the game’s title. Amanda Waller will be in charge of the action once more while you play.

Not only does Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League take place in the Arkham-verse, but it also continues the story begun in Rocksteady’s prior games in that realm, including Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight. In contrast, Warner Bros.’ Gotham Knights game takes place in an alternate timeline, so don’t look for any crossover between the two.
