There have been recent allegations coming in from a variety of sites claiming that players’ GTA Online crews are mysteriously dissolving, and even that players’ crews are being hijacked, with the leading powers of the original owners being stripped away.

Just What Is Going On Here?
One week after Rockstar Games was the victim of a major data breach, on September 25, a user on the GTAFourms by the name of MCbcMC200 posted a thread in which they detailed the ongoing situation with their Social Club crew. In the thread, MC explained that both their account and their Social Club crew had been stolen.
The gamer called Rockstar Support, and shortly afterward, the support crew was able to restore their account, however, it didn’t remain functional for very long. Their account was hacked once again, as shown by the fact that the gamer was informed that two-factor authentication (2FA) was deactivated without the user’s authorization. The individual or group responsible for hacking the site is able to remove account rights and transfer crews to other players.
Today, YouTuber GhillieYT stated that their whole crew had been deleted, and the account was not protected by the 2FA security measure in any way. It is beginning to become increasingly obvious that Rockstar Games’ networking infrastructure is now the target of another large-scale attack that is currently occurring.
Although we do not know whether or not any personally identifiable information was compromised, it is quite probable that the hacker has access to the administrator settings for each and every account on the site.
