Scalebound is trending on Twitter due to a purported leak that purports to expose the titles showcased at the forthcoming Xbox event on June 11. On June 11 at 10 a.m. PT, Xbox will conduct its annual Xbox Showcase event.
The event will undoubtedly be necessary to anybody curious about Xbox’s future, but it’s conceivable that some of the significant announcements may be made in advance. Even if E3 2023 has been scrapped, many events are coming up in the next several months that are practically E3 substitutes.
On May 24, PlayStation will conduct its showcase; on June 11, Xbox will, as noted before, hold its event; and on June 12, Ubisoft Forward will host their presentation. Shortly, gamers should have a ton of exciting news to watch as other events will occur during Summer Game Fest.
Every year around this time, various “leaks” circulate online. Although some of these leaks are true, most are unquestionably false. Fans should take the claims of one such “leak” with a massive grain of salt since it purported to expose the whole lineup for the Xbox Showcase on June 11.
According to the article, the following games will be present: Avowed, Starfield, Fable, State of Decay 3, Hollow Knight Silksong, Overdose, Everwild, Quake, Hellblade 2, Scalebound, Killer Instinct, Wolfenstein 3, Forza Motorsport, Midnight, Fallout: New Vegas 2, Halo “Tatanka,” Halo 3 Anniversary, and Cyberpunk 2077 DLC.
The whole roster for the Xbox Showcase is revealed by a leaker named Xbox Curator:

While this reported lineup seems phony, many people have accepted it at face value, making Scalebound popular online. However, those enthusiastic about the lineup should know several indicators indicate it is a hoax.
Just going down the list chronologically, Starfield is hosting its event after the conclusion of the Xbox Showcase. Hollow Knight Silksong is misspelled and referred to as a timed exclusive, and the canceled Scalebound is described as a shadow drop.
While Midnight is advertised as having a “TBA” developer, Forza Motorsport is said to be in production at Playground Games while it is being created by Turn 10.

Other red flags include the assertion that Halo 3 Anniversary is coming even though 2023 is not a notable anniversary year for the 2007 first-person shooter, and the claimed shadow drop for the rumored Halo battle royale “Tatanka,” even though it seemingly lacks an official moniker.
Furthermore, contrary to the graphic, Cyberpunk 2077 DLC won’t be an Xbox exclusive for three months. The likelihood that something is phony is probably less than 1%. Thus, it should be considered as such. Xbox users must watch the Xbox Showcase on June 11 to discover what’s in store.
