World Of Warcraft Most Significant Updates As Of November 2nd, 2022: This page contains a list of hotfixes for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Burning Crusade Classic, and WoW Classic. It’s important to note that not all of the below hotfixes will take effect until the realm is restarted, even if the majority of them do. It’s important to bear in mind that a patch update on the client side may be necessary to fix certain problems. As more patches are released, this document will be revised to include the new information.
Important Update: Classes Of November 2, 2022
Druid Guardian
- Scintillating Moonlight should now properly mitigate damage absorbed.
- Clouded Focus, a monk’s special ability, now properly augments the healing done by Tear of Morning’s Enveloping Mist.
Paladin
- The inability to pull Avenging Wrath nodes from the talent pane has been fixed.
Warlock Affliction
- This change makes it easier to keep tabs on the caster of Malefic Affliction rather than the target of the curse.
- The problem with the intended effect of Dread Touch has been fixed.
- We fixed an issue where stacks of Malefic Affliction weren’t increasing the likelihood for Doom Blossom to manifest.
Demonology
- Issue fixed where relearning Annihilan Training while your Felguard is active will not reapply it.
- Compete against another player in this online game.
- Those who quit Rated Solo Shuffle too soon will now receive a fair punishment.
Quests
- We’ve resolved an issue that prevented you from completing the quest, “A One-Way Ticket to the Heart.”
- Honors and Awards for Wrath of the Lich King
- It is now intended that the Battlemaster achievement will properly confer the Battlemaster title upon completion.

Begins On November 1st, 2022
Knight Of Death
- The bug where using Death’s Grip twice in rapid succession with the Death’s Echo skill has been fixed.
Evil-Doer Slayer
- Damage done by Havoc’s Chaos Strike and Annihilation is lowered by 5%.
- Damage increased by First Blood has been lowered to 75% of attack power (from 85%).
- Inner Demon attacks now deal 25% more damage.
- Correction made so that the Mastery and Demon Soul effects of Havoc now properly boost the damage dealt by the Inner Demon.
- To substitute Swipe when in Bear Form, druids can now use Feral Brutal Slash. When in Bear form, it neither scores combo points nor drains energy.
- Barbed Shot’s chance to reset Kill Command’s cooldown has decreased from 50% to 25% (from 50% to 100%) because of Hunter Beast Mastery War Orders.
- Hunters will no longer benefit from Leech when their pets are healed using Mend Pet or Exhilaration.
Marksmanship
- Fix a problem where Chimaera Shot could have activated Lethal Shots twice.
- 15% less damage from Aimed Shots.
Mage
- The Monk class now has a permanent fix for the issue where the Summon Water Elemental ability might remain when it shouldn’t.
Windwalker
- All damage done by Fists of Fury has been lowered by 20%.
- The Rising Sun Kick is 20% less damaging.
- We’ve taken 10% off of the damage that the Blackout Kick does.
- The transmission of harm from storms, earth, and fire is lowered by 6.66(repeating, of course)%.
- The Monk’s damage is raised by 15% (from 20%) while they are serene.
- The time it takes to invoke Xuen has been cut in half, to 20 seconds (24 seconds).
- Blackout Kick’s damage is increased by 10% (down from 20%) due to Shadowboxing Treads, and the cooldown on
- Rising Sun Kick is reset by 12% (down from 15%) thanks to Teachings of the Monastery.
- The haste boost from Fury of Xuen has been lowered to 5% (from 8%).
- Ten percent less damage from Whirling Dragon Punch.
- With the inclusion of the Forbidden Technique, the damage done by Touch of Death is boosted by 20%, up from 40%.
- 10% reduction in damage from Jade Wind’s rushing assault.
- Critical hits with the Rising Sun Kick now decrease the cooldown of Fists of Fury by 4 seconds (down from 5), and after Fists of Fury expires, Xuen’s Battlegear raises the critical hit chance of the Rising Sun Kick by 40% (down from 50%).
Paladin
- Hallowed Ground’s effect on Holy damage has been corrected so that it now only increases Consecrate’s damage.
- Damage reflected by a priest’s Crystalline Reflection has decreased from 10%-20% to 6%-12%.
- Shadow and Holy have had the damage from mind tricks lowered by 25%.
- Discipline takes half as much damage from mind tricks.
Discipline
- Radiance, a power word, reduces the duration of Atonement by 20% (from 40%) and applies it twice as often.
- Increased healing by 30% while using the power word “radiance.”
- Ultimate Radiance doubles the health restoration from Power Word: Radiance to 300 (from 600).
- The time between evangelism has had its cooldown raised to 3 minutes (1.5 minutes).
- The wrath of light now deals 25% more damage.
- Previously, Light’s Wrath dealt 10% less damage per ally affected by Atonement; now, it deals 6% more damage.
Damage Reduction From Holy Renew Is 5%.
- The beneficial effects of the Healing Prayer were diminished by 5%.
- Lessens the healing done by Flash Heal by 5%.
- A 5% decrease in healing has been implemented.
- A 5% reduction in healing due to the Prayer of the Healer.
- There is a 5% reduction in healing when using the Holy Word to sanctify an injury.
- Reduced by 5% due to the power of the Holy Word, serenity healing.
- The beneficial effects of Circle of Healing are halved.
- We cut the healing power of the Cosmic Ripple by 5%.
- Damage reduction from the Divine Hymn is 5% lower.
- Divine Word: There will be a 5% decrease in Sanctuary healing.
- Word of God: Salvation medicine is 5% less effective.
Shadow
- A 10% increase in pain damage due to the Shadow Word.
- The damage done by Mind Blast has been boosted by 10%.
- The venom of Inescapable Torment is now 10% more potent.
- Increased death damage by 10% thanks to the Shadow Word.
- There was a 10% boost to Vampiric Touch damage.
- Mind There was a 10% increase in the damage done by spikes.
- Ten percent more mental damage from mind flay.
- The ravaging plague’s toll increased by 10%.
- There was a 10% bump in damage from Mind Sear.
- The damage of Shadowy Apparition has been increased by 10%.
- The damage of a Void Torrent now increases by 10%.

- The Mind Flay damage of Void Tendril has been improved by 10%.
- The Mind Sear effect of Void Lasher has been improved by 10%.
There Was A 20% Increase In The Destructive Power Of A Rogue’s Ambush.
- There was a 5% increase in rupture damage.
- The slaying garrote’s damage has been raised by 5%.
- The effect of mutations now deals 5% more damage.
- The damage from Deathmark has been raised by 15%.
- Damage from Poison and Envenom has been amplified by 5%, to a total of 35%.
- The scent of Blood now provides a 24% (up from 15%) maximum Agility boost.
Subtle Backstabs Are 5% More Damaging Now
- Damage done by eviscerating has been upgraded by 5%.
- An additional 5% damage was added to the shadow strike.
- The impact of a Gloomblade has been amplified by 5%.
- There was a 5% uptick in damage from Secret Techniques.
- The amount of time that Deepening Shadows reduces its cooldown for each combo point spent is now 0.7

- This 25% reduction in effect applies to all damage.
Warlock Affliction
- We fixed a problem where another Warlock dispelling your Malefic Affliction would remove it.
- The duration of Vile Taint’s Curse of Exhaustion has been increased to 6 seconds (12 seconds).
- Dark Strike, a Sacrolash ability, now increases the duration of Curses by 0.2/0.4 seconds (up from 0.5/1.0 seconds).
The Demonology Implosion Damage Was Increased By 25%.
- The damage done by Bilescourge Bombers was improved by 20%.
- The damage done by the Hand of Guldan was boosted by 35%.
- The Fel Explosion damage done by the Guillotine was raised by 25%.
- Increased the range of the Guillotine’s Fel Explosion by 8 yards (was 4 yards).
- The harm done by vile fiends was boosted by 20%.
- Increased Felguard damage by 20% (Grimoire effect).
- Felguard’s damage is amplified by 20% after undergoing Annihilan Training, up from 10% before.
- The odds of a wild imp becoming the leader of the Imp Gang have increased from 5-10% to 15-30%.
- Imp Gang Leaders’ damage has been boosted to 50% (from 20%).
- The damage done by Pit Lord (from Gul’dan’s Ambition) was boosted by 25%.
The Destruction Caused By The Demonic Tyrant’s Demonfire Has Been Raised By 10%.
- The new 6-second cooldown for Rolling Havoc (was 5 seconds).
- The duration of Azj’Aqir’s insanity has been reduced to five seconds (4 seconds).
Game of Pets
There is no longer a chance of a math error occurring when using Combat-Training Stones to increase the level of a battle pet.

- Several abilities’ animations and visual effects should now play normally (i.e. Will to Survive and Divine Storm).

- When playing PvP, if you lose a Random Battleground at max level, you will no longer receive any gold.
Easy Access And Friendly User Interface
- We’ve resolved a problem where, after changing your character’s name, you might still see references to the old one in some contexts.

Druid Balance
- When Radiant Moonlight isn’t capable, Full Moon does indeed go back to New Moon.
- With or without the Orbital Strike talent, Elune’s Guidance now correctly lowers the cost of Starsurge and

- Correction made so that the Solstice bonus now properly applies when using the Celestial Alignment buff from the Primordial Arcanic Pulsar.

- Corrected an issue where Budding Leaves wouldn’t refresh Lifebloom after it had been refreshed by Verdant Infusion or Flourish.
- Ensured that Verdant Infusion and Flourish properly extend Grove Tending.
Rogue Subtlety
- We’ve fixed a bug that could have allowed Inevitability to have Eviscerate and Shadowstrike inflict more damage than intended.
Warlock
- A bug where Inquisitor’s Gaze would drag adversaries out of battle has been fixed.
Affliction
- The damage done by a single Drain Soul has been corrected by the Necrolord ability, Decimating Bolt, and the Shard of Annihilation.
Demonology
- As long as Demonic Strength is active, Guillotine cannot be utilized.
Challenges And Assaults In Dungeons
- Those of the Covenant and the Legendary Cast of Shadowlands All Season 4 Mythic Dungeons now have their abilities and powers fully operational again.
One Player Vs. Another
Solo Shuffle Rating
- Improved the rating acquired from Solo Shuffle so that it counts toward upgrading equipment.

- When the Always Show action bar preference is turned off, spells reappear on the bar whenever it is repositioned.
- After a loading screen, the Group Finder symbol with the eye will continue to be active and searchable as usual.
- When using Raid Style Party Frames in the Arena, this issue should no longer occur.
- Dragonflight’s release will bring back the Reagent Bag slot.
