God of War Ragnarok was one of the best games of 2022, and while PlayStation gamers have had the opportunity to play it, many PC fans are still eager to continue Kratos’ adventure.
Ragnarok not only introduces new and lethal combos, but for the first time in the series, players can control Kratos’ son, Atreus. The game’s landscapes are likewise fantastic on PS5, and a future PC port would likely improve this much further.
So, if you’re wondering when you’ll be able to get your hands on a PC copy of the popular sequel, our God of War: Ragnarok PC hub has got you covered.
Will God of War Ragnarok Be on PC?
No, Sony has not revealed any information on the God of War Ragnarok PC release date. However, in an interview with Julien Chieze, PlayStation Studios chief Hermen Hulst stated that “going forward, we’ll see at least a year between releases on PlayStation and the PC platform, possibly except for live service games.”

It’s also worth noting that God War was published on PC in January 2022, three years after the PS4 launch. So, while there is no official word that Kratos’ latest journey will be released on PC, the chances are strong.
Fellow Horizon Forbidden West, a PlayStation first-party game, is scheduled to debut on PC in 2024, however, no exact date has been revealed. That game debuted in February 2022, some months before Ragnarok’s November 2022 release.
Based on prior Sony PC port releases and Hulst’s comment, we can expect God of War to be released on PC in 2024 or 2025. Of course, we will update this story as soon as further information is available.
