Valorant New Map Release Date: With Riot officially releasing its newest map in Lotus, it’s the best time of the year for map explorers and angle finders in VALORANT. India serves as the backdrop for Lotus, which includes a ton of stunning Indian buildings made of old rock carvings.
The map’s distinctive qualities identify it in terms of gameplay features. Similar to Haven, it has three locations where attackers can plant the spike. It has a small section of the wall that can be destroyed, providing access between A main and A link (to B).
Additionally, two spinning doors briefly open before closing, and everyone on the map can see when a door is opened. Any rank of player will find it difficult to master the new map. All three locations are rather tiny, however, several paths needed to be guarded.
Additionally, there are several nooks and crannies around each location that rival players can hide in. You won’t have to wait long if you enjoy what you’ve seen so far and want to participate yourself.
What Is Valorant?

On June 2, 2020, the game was officially released. The game’s creation commenced in 2014. The tactical shooter series Counter-Strike serves as an inspiration for Valorant, which borrows various gameplay elements from it, including the buy menu, spray patterns, and movement inaccuracy.
When Does Lotus Release In Valorant?
On January 10, with the release of VALORANT Episode Six, Act One, players will be able to explore the new map Lotus. Lotus won’t be immediately accessible in the competitive or unrated queues, as Riot has done with prior major map launches.
Instead, it will be added to a distinct queue of its own. Players who wish to queue Lotus will have to do so solely for the first few weeks, but it will of course be available in custom games.

Level Designer Joe Lansford claims some various traditional Indian architectural features and locales served as inspiration for the map. Stepwells, Rock-Cut construction, and Dravidian design. Rani Ki Vav, Ellora Caves, and Badami Cave Temples are just a few.
Additionally, the map’s inspiration, the Guardians, has some visual connections that the developers want players to discover for themselves.
