CD Projekt Red has stated that the next-gen edition will incorporate all previously released DLC in addition to new content based on The Witcher Netflix series, and further information on these integrated mods and other features will be provided during a Twitch Livestream early next week.
The updated version of the game, which was originally developed by a third-party studio called Saber Interactive, was supposed to be launched last year but was postponed twice. The game was “not in development hell,” CD Projekt Red insisted after taking control in April 2022.
Despite widespread concern due to the game’s history of two postponements and the coming end of the year, CD Projekt Red appears on track to deliver the game as promised in the fourth quarter (Q4).
