It’s A War And Honor Epic.
The DioField Chronicle has vast, powerful stories. The game is set in a fantasy-medieval-modern universe. This continent has been devastated by a conflict between the Empire and the Alliance. One nation, Alletain on DioField Island, has remained unharmed.
Alain is rich in Jade, a sought wizardry element. As the struggle between Empire and Alliance grows, both sides turn to the island. War is approaching DioField, trapping Alletain. In the turmoil, Blue Fox mercenaries appear. These warriors will shape DioField… and the world. It’s a sprawling story with drama and grand moments, but the characters are what is important. Also…
Characters Stand Out
You control Blue Fox mercenaries and follow their battles. The four team leaders are:
Andrias
Andrias is calm and resourceful. He’s well-versed in DioField’s Ancient Sorcery and strategy. Young, a nobleman saw something exceptional about him. As a soldier, he became Prince Levantia Shaytham’s chamberlain and bodyguard. Andrias’ life is thrown into chaos when Levantia is attacked by assassins, and a new path emerges.
FredLester
Fredret is so large and bulky you could think he’s an infantryman. Instead, he uses his excellent horsemanship to gallop about the battlefield. Since childhood, he’s known Andrias, and they’ve faced numerous dangers together. They have a nearly unbreakable brotherhood tie. People respect Fredret’s kindness, honesty, and directness. He’s naive, probably because of his rural upbringing. His passions often consume him.
Colchester Iscarion
Iscarion Colchester is a prodigiously good archer and mercenary. Not always a Blue Fox. Iscarion, son of a petty noble, joined Colchester’s order of knights. After a personal tragedy, he became a knight-errant and traveled the kingdom alone. He may look aloof, but he’ll help the needy. His subordinates appreciate him for this.
Redditch
Waltaquin studied Ancient Sorcery from a young age. She’s a wizard now. As the daughter of one of Suffield’s most distinguished noblemen, she’s been spoilt her whole life. She’s selfish and haughty, but graceful and smart. In this epic adventure, you’ll meet all these people and more. By the end, their troubles will feel like yours.
Real-time Tactical Battle Is Introduced.
What about gameplay? The DioField Chronicle combines real-time and command-based tactics. The real-Time Tactical Battle system creates fast-paced, strategic conflicts that require attention and adaptability.
Everything happens in real-time, even though you can pause to give commands and plan. Unlike many strategy RPGs, adversaries don’t wait about twiddling their thumbs while your troops obey your commands.
You and the opponent can use turrets, barricades, and bursting kegs on the battlefield. This provides for unpredictable, ever-changing conflict. Good planning and strategy are vital to success, but adaptability is also important. A plan that worked at the start of a conflict may lose effectiveness if foes move, so be ready with a fresh approach.
Audio-Visual Treat
All the action takes place in elaborate diorama-style landscapes. It’s beautiful, especially in 4K on Xbox Series X|S, and provides the game with a unique aesthetic. Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell, recognized for their work on “Game of Thrones,” composed the masterfully orchestrated soundtrack. It’s aesthetically pleasing. Don’t believe me…
The Demo Is Extensive.
The DioField Chronicle is a strategic game with a free demo. This sample includes the prologue and first five missions, about three hours of gameplay (though you may get more or less than that depending on factors like the difficulty level, your playstyle, etc.). All your progress from the demo rolls over to the full game.
The Game Is Complete.
The DioField Chronicle for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One is currently available. Early purchase bonus includes Weapon: Rhopasto Knife and Recruit’s Bangle. The DioField Chronicle Digital Deluxe Edition includes the Knight’s Spear, Mystical Ring, Original Soundtrack, and Digital Artbook.
