Tekken 8, the latest instalment in the popular fighting game series from Bandai Namco, is set to launch sometime in 2023. However, fans who can’t wait to get their hands on the game will have a chance to try it out next month in a Closed Network Test (CNT), essentially a closed beta that will test the online features and performance of the game.
The Tekken 8 CNT will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and will run over two weekends in July. The first weekend will be exclusive to PS5 players, while the second weekend will include cross-play with Xbox and PC players.
The CNT will allow players to compete in cross-platform ranked matches using 16 characters and five stages from the game. If you’re interested in joining the Tekken 8 CNT, here’s everything you need to know about how to sign up, when it starts, and what it includes.
How to Sign Up for Tekken 8 CNT?
To sign up for the Tekken 8 CNT, visit the official website and fill out a registration form with your details and platform of choice. You can register for either or both weekends, but you must do so before June 28, 2023, at 1 a.m. PT / 4 a.m. ET / 9 a.m. BST / 10 a.m. CEST.
However, registering does not guarantee that you will be selected for the CNT, as participants will be randomly drawn. If desired, you will receive an email with a code to redeem on your platform’s store to download the CNT client. You will also need an internet connection to play, but you won’t need an active PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription.
