Street Fighter 6 Characters Feature Unique Animations For Great Rounds: Whenever a player gets a flawless round in Street Fighter 6, their character will perform an animation to celebrate.
Brand manager of Capcom Europe Matthew Edwards tweeted that if you defeat an opponent without taking any damage, you will perform a celebratory move.
Luke’s, as captured by Edwards in 2022 Japan, will be displayed first. You can watch the animation in action in the video embedded below.
Saw one of the attendees getting a perfect win with Luke and asked them to do it again so I could capture it #JapanExpo2022
Luke is definitely from the TikTok generation 😂
I’m now wondering what the other perfect win animations look like 🤔 pic.twitter.com/oKWn1erbYy

It’s unknown if other win conditions, such as winning while low on health, will also trigger special animations, or if characters’ animations can be modified like outfits and outfit colors have done in the past.
Even though Street Fighter 6 won’t be out until 2023, Capcom has been showing off gameplay and features like the new World Tour mode at conventions recently. The game’s storyline appears to be an open environment that players can explore, taking them to different locations from the Street Fighter canon.
Producer Shuhei Matsumoto hinted to IGN Japan (translated by VGC) that the open world location depicted in gameplay footage, Metro City, will be just one of several in Street Fighter 6.
I don’t think street culture has anything to do with countries, therefore I don’t really think about it,” Matsumoto said when asked if the graffiti-covered streets of Metro City were meant to be a picture of America.
It’s possible such an impression was formed because Metro City serves as the opening stop on the globe tour. To clarify what he meant by “an initial stage,” IGN Japan questioned Matsumoto further.

The world tour, he said. “I can’t tell you for sure just yet, but I do hope you’re interested in learning more.”
The full details of Street Fighter 6 were disclosed at a PlayStation State of Play event earlier this year, but major leaks of the game quickly surfaced online.
Artwork for 22 playable characters in Street Fighter 6 was released online, seemingly confirming the return of all eight of the original ‘World Warriors’ from Street Fighter II alongside a host of other returning and new faces.
The additional figures seen in the pictures line up with a purported leak provided a few months ago by Reddit member DasVergeben.
