Stardew Valley 1.5 Mobile Update: More Stardew is what Stardew Valley fans want most, and anyone playing the cozy life sim on iOS or Android can now get it.t
The game is playable on almost all platforms (I prefer the Nintendo Switch), although fans of Stardew on mobile were forced to wait for a significant content upgrade that arrived on consoles back in 2021.
The Stardew Valley patch 1.5, which added a ton of new things to do with it, rolled out over the weekend for the game’s Android and iOS adaptations. The upgrade is significant. Fair warning: there may be some spoilers in this article if you want to explore the charming game world’s mysteries on your own.
A new beach farm layout, numerous new NPCs and opponents, ostriches (because ostriches), and an entirely new location—Ginger Island—are just a few of the many changes made in patch 1.5. Why ruin it for yourself when you can find the complete list of new 1.5 content here?

The game, which has sold more than 20 million copies since its introduction in 2016, is probably done after this final content push. Eric Barone, the developer of Stardew Valley, is already hard at work on his upcoming smash hit indie game, Haunted Chocolatier.
Although there isn’t an established release date just yet, Barone began developing the game in 2020, so a 2023 or 2024 release isn’t completely out of the question. The remarkable thing about Stardew’s success is that it has only grown more and more popular over time.
The mobile 1.5 update has been submitted for iOS and Android, and will start rolling out to users over the next few days. The update should already be available to some on Android.

In 2022, years after its release, the game was selling more quickly than it had earlier. That’s probably because Stardew’s endearing universe and the impressive depth it offers for a game that’s purportedly a farming sim have received so much positive word-of-mouth publicity.
