Sony has announced that the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man would launch for PlayStation 5 in the fall of 2023. The Spidey sequel from Insomniac Games is scheduled for release sometime in 2019, and it will be a current-gen console exclusive.

This new adventure will involve both Spider-Man and Miles Morales, picking up where the first game and its sequel left off.

Though Insomniac didn’t release anything this year, creative director Bryan Intihar has informed fans that the studio has been hard at work on the highly anticipated sequel: What a year it’s been for PlayStation Studios; here at Insomniac Games, we’ve been in total awe of the work of our peers.
