There is presently no Spider-Man 2 New Game Plus option available, but we do know that it is still in development by Insomniac Games and will be published soon.
Fans have been calling for an NG+ mode to be added so they can revisit Kraven and Venom’s story while having all of their Spider-Man 2 skills, abilities, gadgets, and suit tech unlocked from the start, but progress has been slowed due to delays (including a studio hack). Here’s all we know so far about Spider-Man 2’s New Game Plus.
Spider Man 2 PS5 New Game Plus Release Date
At the time of writing, there is no Spider-Man 2 New Game Plus mode available; it is scheduled for an upcoming patch in early 2024.
Right now, the closest you can go is unlocking the Ultimate difficulty option after completing the main plot. With Spider-Man 2’s length clocking in at around 30 hours, if you complete everything, this will give you an additional challenge if you wish to play again.

You can start a new game at any time, but nothing from prior playthroughs will be carried over, so you’ll have to start from scratch. This implies that collectibles like Spider-Man 2 Tech Crates and Spider-Man 2 Photo Ops will need to be restarted.
The current concept for an NG+ mode is similar to what happened with the original Spider-Man game on PS4, which received a New Game Plus patch approximately a month and a half after its release in 2018.
As shown in the above update from December 2023, Insomniac announced via Twitter that features such as New Game Plus will be available in early 2024. We haven’t received any further updates since, so we’ll simply have to be patient and wait for more information.
