Here is a summary of the update provided by SEGA:
New Challenge Modes
Players can access the new challenge modes, Cyber Space Challenge and Battle Rush, from the title screen after finishing the main story campaign. Players will race against the clock to finish several Cyber Space stages in a row in the time-attack mode known as the Cyber Space Challenge. Battle Rush, a timed battle mode where you battle multiple foes, Guardians, and Titans at once, will also be available in Sonic Frontiers.
Photo Mode
Players can access Photo Mode from the pause menu to pause gameplay and bring up a camera that can be moved around to take pictures of their time on the Starfall Islands.
Jukebox
With the new Jukebox, users can listen to their favorite Sonic songs anywhere in the Starfall Islands. Players can choose from 53 song tracks, 13 of which are available right away. The other 40 songs can be unlocked by gathering Sound Memories on each island.
