What is Included in the Sims 4 Infant Game Update?
Infants are a new life stage that will be added before your Sims become toddlers. With this update, your Sims can talk to Infants helpfully. Sims can pick up and hold your Infant Sims, feed and breastfeed them, bathe them, and play with them.
Your Sims can also pick up and hold Infants while doing other things. If the baby starts to cry, the baby will be taken care of automatically, making the game much easier to play. Things are going to get messier and more out of hand around here.
Infants’ small animations and visuals make them stand out from Toddlers and Children. In a recent Behind the Sims livestream on the official The Sims YouTube channel, the team working on The Sims 4 showed some teaser footage and discussed how they made the Infant life stage.
From this, we can figure out a little bit about how Sims might be able to interact with Infants in The Sims 4 Infant update:
- Science has made it possible for adult sims to have babies. Now, they can ask other people to use a mix of their DNA to create a new life.
- Sims holding an Infant will be able to stand up or sit down.
- Sims can talk to and do different things with Infant Sims.
- Sims can nurse (both with a bottle and by nursing) and feed babies.
- Sims can give their babies to other Sims.
- Sims will be able to pick up and put Infants in their cribs.
You can also change everything about your Sims’ babies in Create a Sim. You can expect to see many clothing options for your Infants, and you’ll be able to change even small things like their teeth and birthmarks. Your little one can wear bucket hats, helmets, dress shirts, tuxedos, onesies, and dresses.
There will be a full range of skin tones, eye colors, and more for newborns. This means your Sims can be customized even more, no matter how old.
