Scorn Game: Scorn is a first-person horror game that was announced eight years ago, and it is set in a bizarre subterranean that is obviously influenced by the work of HR Giger. The game is determinedly creepy. Since then, it has been subject to a number of delays, and it has moved away from an episodic approach (such a wonderfully mid-2010s phenomenon! ), shifting instead towards a more traditional full-length package.
It’s time.
We are thrilled to officially announce Scorn will be launching on the 21st of October 2022! pic.twitter.com/AL7JP01CLW

Scorn Game
The new gameplay clip that can be seen above shows that the release date for Scorn will be on October 21. Players will soon have the opportunity to enjoy the results of the labor put in by Ebb Software.
Extended gameplay footage of Scorn has been provided to us in the past; however, the environment design in this new video looks to be quite a little more elaborate than in earlier videos. The typical Giger trappings are there, including a tone that straddles the exceedingly tight line between decaying grandiosity and unsettling body horror, as well as a setting that seems to be decorated in a way that resembles a byzantine network of mechanical intestines.
Scorn has developed a peculiar fanbase since it hews closer to its inspiration than anything else, which is despite the fact that its design style has been seen in games in the past. There is a lot of genuine artistic talent engaged in this project, and even if the game doesn’t turn out to be very good, it’ll still look great.
It’s interesting to note that there’s no actual fighting in this new “prologue” film. The game will definitely contain firearms (the previous video has revealed some bizarre prosthesis-style shotgun), but this new film looks to be prepping us for a proper survival horror experience: there is some minor puzzle solving, and the accent here is on progressively rising dread. This is not a first-person shooter game at all.
The very first video of Scorn was made available back in 2014, much before the game had ever been submitted to Steam Greenlight (remember when that was a thing?). It’s intriguing to see the new video and compare it to the older one. It has a decent visual presentation considering its age, but one could easily envision it being brought up in the ongoing discussion regarding visuals in early development games.
Final Words
