The village uses the PSVR 2’s specialized hardware to its full potential, allowing you to enjoy the experience with 3D audio, 4K HDR output, and PSVR 2 Sense. The PSVR 2 wands, much like the DualSense controller, have haptic feedback to immerse the user further. Double-wielding weapons, hands-on reloading, and in-hand map viewing are all present, just like in Resident Evil 4’s Meta Quest 2 remake.
Resident Evil Village VR provides a tutorial and a shooting range to help you get up to speed on the controls. The tutorial would cover the fundamentals of using the rules, and the shooting gallery would give you a feel for the firearms before you dive into the craziness. These elements might be included in the popular Resident Evil 4 remake’s free post-launch DLC virtual reality mode.
Resident Evil Village VR is now available on PlayStation 5.
