Remnant 2 File Size
For PC, a minimum of 80GB of space is required, whereas Xbox users only need to clear 64GB. We anticipate the PlayStation version to be approximately the same size as the Xbox’s. Regardless, this size is relatively modest compared to the vast games we’ve seen thus far in 2023.
Remnant 2 Gameplay
Remnant 2 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor as a third-person shooter, drawing inspiration from Soulslike video games. In this game, players can wield up to two guns in addition to their melee weapon.
Right from the beginning, players can choose from various character archetypes. For instance, the Gunslinger class takes the place of the Ex-cultist from the first instalment and specializes in firearms.

The Challenger class can unleash devastating shockwaves to obliterate enemies, while the Handler class benefits from a trusty dog companion aiding them in combat.
As players progress, they’ll have the opportunity to dual-class and unlock even more possibilities. Additionally, they can activate archetype-specific perks and skills, each with unique advantages.
For example, the Gunslinger has the “Loaded” ability, allowing them to reload all their carried firearms instantly. On the other hand, the Handler’s prime perk, “Bonded,” enables their dog companion to revive them should they fall in battle. Remnant 2 significantly expands on the procedural generation seen in the first game.
Not only are the level layouts and enemy spawn points subject to randomness, but enemy types, the visual style of regions, boss characters, non-playable characters, the game’s storyline, and quests are now randomly generated. Players can brave the entire adventure solo or team up with two others in the cooperative multiplayer mode.
Remnant 2 is now accessible on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
