The whole Prince of Persia The Lost Crown map is surprisingly large, with a whole metropolis hidden in Mt. Qaf for Sargon to discover and document along the journey, however, it will take some time to access the in-game map itself.

As previously stated, the map for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is opened using an item known as the Eye of the Wanderer. Don’t worry, you can’t miss this important artifact – once you reach Mt. Qaf and separate from the other Immortals, simply keep walking right, fighting your way through all the monsters you encounter.
After reaching Mt. Qaf, look for a golden Wak-Wak Tree that serves as a checkpoint, and a little girl will emerge to speak with you. She’ll give you the Eye of the Wanderer, which will allow you to access the map from your menu. It’s worth noting that the map isn’t pre-filled; you discover it as you travel and can go back to see what you’ve discovered using the Eye.

The map is revealed as you proceed, but each location also contains the Young Girl who handed you the Eye of the Wanderer, generally in a dead-end path.
You can give her 50 Time Crystals to have that region revealed on the map, with the places you haven’t visited yet tinted darker than usual to indicate that you still haven’t explored (thus why some locations on the map above are darker).
