NBA fans are likely to be puzzled but excited, about the latest NBA game announced recently. NBA All-World is the latest game from Pokémon Go developer Niantic, and it appears to be aimed at introducing the NBA to a global audience.
Niantic is well-known for its augmented reality (AR) games, which take your real-world location into account when playing. Pokémon Go is the best example of this, with local landmarks transformed into PokéStops or Gyms where players can gather and interact.
NBA All-World will almost certainly replicate this formula, though exactly how is unknown at this time. So far, the only footage we’ve seen of All-World is a teaser trailer that shows the planet transforming into a giant basketball.

According to the FAQ section of the website, the game will enter a soft launch soon and will initially be available in limited markets for beta testing as they improve the game for a global launch. Hopefully, this means that the United States is among the soft launch territories.
